Thumbs up Digitrex

I agree, it is a good unit. I bought one for a relative who needed an all zone player. It does play all zones and RCE (I tested it with 3 RCE titles). A very good bargain indeed if anyone is looking for a player.

thnx for that dvddude, while the price is nice, i need more outputs and an onboard decoder. It would definately be good for just a very basic player.

Confirmed.

But ring around first to make sure they have them in stock!
I have bought 2 as Chrissie presents, unfortunately one of them has a dead remote control, so I have to take it back and exchange it

As long as you don't need an onboard decoder, it's the shiznit!

Re: Digitrex

Is it multi region straight out of the box. If not is the adjustment hard wire or remote? and does it play VCD?

Ok, the Digitrez GK-1020 has the following

MULTIZONE straight out of the box. No codes needed.
Plays MP3, Audio CD, DVD and VCD (tested VCD just now on a homemade copy and works perfectly).

Has Coaxial Digital out for the DD/DTS signal
Has Svideo and RCA Video Out
Has L/R Analog audio out

Does NOT have onboard DD or DTS decoding.

Where else can you buy this unit except from Big W, and is it $98 almost everywhere? I couldn't find it at my closest Big W... so I need some help and direction please. Thanks
