Talk about it. ch9 should be ashamed. Remember at the start of this year they advertised The Sopranos as being the brand new series? Via Commercials, and even the paper said new season. Then 2mins before its due to show, they show a little thing saying "This is season 3 of the sopranos, tune in febuary (or something) for the new series" .. and we get them in may.

Wow!!!!!!!!!! that is great news that's a show I love to watch I'll have blank tapes ready incase I go out on a Monday night just incase I might miss an episode, couldn't have that .

About bloody time. I'm looking forward to it after being teased and let down by 9.

Tsargrad, still give it a go dude. You should be able to pick it up after an episode or 2 and you may like it.

Yeah you should watch a few shows and see if you like it, I hadn't heard of it besides winning heaps of awards. I didn't have a clue what it was about then watched it at my friends house and got addicted right away.


Both totaly differant of course but I did the same with Kath & Kim watched it at my friends house, even though I never heard of it just a bit I was told about the show........and love it.

By the way this seems like I don't watch anything at home because both I mentioned were at my friends house, I do watch DVD's but don't buy TV shows gone on DVD unless I have already seen the show.

It was soooooooooo good to see the show back on getting adds in it was pretty bad, but it gave me time to get a drink of water and go out side for a smoke and do what you do during adds. But it was being taped so I can sit and enjoy it when I want to, but what I did see was damn good.

It starts in a few minutes but i'm in 2 minds as to whether I should watch .... or just wait for the DVD set; which'll be 16:9 and 5.1

Also, my memory is horrible so I may not see the correlation between events that happen between episodes if they're shown weeks apart.

Yeah that's one of my problems too my bad memory from the last series to this, then each week to keep track. But I'll have to I'm not buying TV shows on DVD except Kath and Kime.

Yeah, although it's been around for a few seasons already, I still think people can still pick it up and follow it after that amount of time.

yeah it is definitely doable I think... I wasn't overlly lost last night... I had to do the same with Buffy, start at Season 5..

But yeah may invest in the Sopranos DVDs, after checking which Region offers a better value etc.

I'm pretty sure they're both cut-free.

The R1 will probably cost at least 30-40% more than the R4, but I've compared them side by side and the R1 5.1 soundtrack is worth the diff alone me thinks.
